We arrived back late Friday evening (after 9pm) after an 11 hour van ride with very few stops! I was sick after getting back and was just starting to feel human yesterday. It was a very low-key 4th of July this year. We had to do TONS of laundry plus go get groceries. In the evening, our friends Shannon and Niki came over for pizza and then we went to see the Hamilton fireworks. Cody was just AMAZED at the fireworks this year! He would clap, squeal and tap or bruise Matt or Mammaw Schmidt's arms! It was too cute. Carleigh liked them but was a little scared at times. She would hop from one person's lap to another and "pretend" to be scared! (My DRAMA girl!!)
I will be posting pics this afternoon! We are soooo glad to be home, but had a fun time despite the weather!
