A Nice relaxing weekend

I just love 3 day weekends! Due to Presidents' Day, I have a 3 day weekend. This weekend, I have been working on archiving photos, putting photos into albums (until I can get the scrapbook going), buying toy organizers for Cody's room, and getting the party invitations with Carleigh's picture ready to be mailed. I am also getting the laundry room organized and trying to take care of things that get neglected while I am working. It is so cold here that we are homebound most of the weekend. Either Matt or I stay home with the babies while an errand or shopping needs to get done. We are planning on taking them to church this evening and to Cody's ENT appointment tomorrow. Other than that, they are staying inside. It is FREEZING! Last night was the coldest of the season as the temps dropped to 0. Hopefully it will be warmer at Carleigh's birthday next month. I keep thinking....just 3.5 months until summer break!!! Cody has been making progress with the walker his physical therapist has loaned us. Carleigh is getting into everything! She rolls and tries to crawl. The little stinker tried to eat newspaper today. Oh yuck!!

Hurray for Sick Days!!

On Friday while at a writing conference, I received word that our school would be closed on Monday and Tuesday due to illness. I was so relieved! I have a meeting or therapy appointment going on every day this week and I need to pack for our weekend trip to Columbus. Cody is battling a double ear infection so I was glad that he didn't have to get out in the freezing weather for four days straight. He keeps pulling at the ear and I am questioning the strength of the antiobiotic that was prescribed. We go back to the ENT on Feb. 20th for a check on the ear. There is a possibility that Cody may need to get tubes and have his tongue clipped at the same time. I hope not for my little guy's sake! Today, I cleaned my house and put lots of toys away. Tomorrow I plan on working on laundry, playing with the kiddos, and packing the toys/baby items for our weekend trip.
