Snow Angels

My mom decided to make a snow angel and of course Cody decided to do it next all on his own without anyone prompting him and then Carleigh decided to do it as well. At lunch time, Carleigh was talking about the snow and making the snow angel. My guess is that we may have to go out again with Matt gets home so they can play in it once again.

Jen, your mom ROCKS! I love love love that she dropped and did a snow angel. Every grandmother should be so cool! Tell her I said so. I loved all the photos. We got (gulp) 10 inches here. The only reason I'm so shocked is because I-70 (about 10 minutes south of us) is the dividing line for bad weather. It generally stays along 70 and south of 70. And that WAS the prediction. We were supposed to only get 2" with a chance of 4". Yeah, well!
Carl got stuck NOT in the driveway this morning, but in the road. Because, ya know, those homeowner's association fees that pay for snow removal are so effective and all (NOT!) I called them at 4pm this afternoon and gave them a word two. We've had people stuck on our cul-de-sac several times today, all because the ENTIRE development was plowed, but not the two cul-de-sacs. Um, helooOOo! We don't pay reduced fees on the culdy's. Don'tcha know a plow came down our street 30 minutes after my call. Isn't that special? Grrr! ;)
So glad your kids got to enjoy the beautiful snow. My kids are out there with their daddy right now. I'm nursing sore muscles from shoveling with Carl at 530am this morning.
Blessings,
~Toni~

You got what we got in snow plus we got some horrible ice. There are people w/o power and I am sooooo thankful we have ours. The Sept windstorm of 3 days w/o power about did me in.

Yep, I was a little surpised my mom did that but then, ya never know with my mom!!

Our street hasn't been plowed and it is a dead end street. Now the big question is if we will have school tomorrow. The temps are supposed to drop into the teens so refreezing could be an issue also. I would love to have one more day off to get more cleaning and closet organizing done.

Kudos to you for shoveling at 5:30am....our new snow didn't start falling until that time for us this morning!
