This summer, I am working with Cody and Carleigh individually. Today, Carleigh worked on writing her name and worked on forming the letters of her name. Tomorrow, we are working on letter formation and simple addition.
I am working with Cody with holding a pencil properly as well as reading short two-letter and three-letter words. He knows all his sounds and letters so we are going to work on reading small words.

Awesome plan, Jen. And Miss Carleigh is looking so grown up these days. That Wayne Watson song, Watercolor Ponies, reeeeally gets to me at such times of realization.
