Eye Surgery

Today was a normal eye examination for Cody. He goes to the doctor every 3 months to check on his vision and the crossing of his eyes. Eye patching is not working for him so his doctor has decided to perform eye surgery on my little man. It's a bit scary as Cody will be under general anesthesia (or in other words...totally out!) and the surgery will be performed on both eyes. Cody had sedation for his MRI when he was almost 2 years old, but has never had any type of surgery. The surgery scheduler will call tomorrow or Wednesday to schedule his surgery. Luckily, he can have it done at the Liberty Campus so no trip to the main campus (yay!). It will probably occur sometime during January and hopefully not around his 6th birthday....my poor boy!
