Eye Patching

The doctor ordered eye patching for Cody again. *sigh* We haven't patched his eye since he was a small baby. We were DREADING it because Cody doesn't tolerate his glasses well. The nurse said to start with 15 minutes one day, then 30 and then 45 gradually up to 2 hours. Well, our goal was 15 minutes. He immediately wanted to take it off so Matt held him a few minutes. He must have gotten use to it because he went 1 hour and 45 minutes with it on! Way to go, my sweet boy!! He almost made the full 2 hours on his first day! I am so proud of my little guy!! Hopefully this will correct his lazy right eye. And hopefully we can find a strategy for the glasses. I am still looking for eyeglass straps for kids his age, anyone reading this and has seen them, please post a comment.
