At the ranch...

Our married Sunday School class met at our teachers' horse ranch for pizza and games. Cody and Carleigh loved looking at the horses and enjoyed petting them. The next time we go, there will be a pony for them to ride! They enjoyed watching ping pong games and were fascinated by the deer and elk mounted to the wall.

Next Saturday will be fun because we are going to Ringling Brothers Circus. We have heard that the show is fabulous with a black light show after intermission. Cody and Carleigh will have their friend E coming as well so it should be a fun time for all.

Looks like they had a great time. We did Ringling in Cleveland about 5 years ago with Olivia, Reece and his birth sister's adoptive family. Enjoy!

Yes, they had a blast although it was really chilly in the barn!

I am excited to take them, but hoping it keeps their attention!

As I recall, Olivia and Kimberly were interested as each act initially came out, then their interest faded if the act took too long. They were about your kids' ages at the time (and so that level of attention was fairly age appropriate so it was okay). The "feel" of the performances was on the contemporary side. I would have preferred a more traditional "for the children" kind of circus but I guess Ringling has to consider all ages when putting the shows together. All in all, we had a fun time.
