We are moving in a week!
Eek! We got the call from our realtor that our loan is ready and we could move forward with the closing of our home one week earlier than projected so it looks like we will be moving into our new home next weekend! Words cannot express the joy we have!
So, needless to say, I have been packing like a madwoman. With teaching all day, this leaves just a few hours in the evening to get it finished. Matt and I got a lot of progress on our bedroom last night, but then I came down with a major sinus infection and did not do anything this evening. Hopefully I will be on the road to recovery and get everything packed up by the weekend. Our goal is to move the kids' things the night we close/get the keys and take a truck load of stuff every night next week. Then, Friday night, we will get most of everything moved and settle for the minor things on Saturday morning.
I want settled before the next day (Mothers' Day) and I really will need to relax before going back to work the following day. No doubt with all the family and friends who are willing to help, we will get everything moved fairly quickly.
It's really starting to hit home for Cinderella. Seeing all the boxes and cleaning out the rooms have really helped her process this whole ordeal. This will be such an adjustment for them as our home is the only one that they have ever known. I have only lived in two houses, so it will be an adjustment for me as well.
Despite the changes, no doubt we will make new memories in our new home. I cannot wait to start celebrating the holidays there as well as getting a new member of the family! The kids cannot wait til he/she arrives!!!

Our Big News!!!!
Matt and I have been praying and waiting for this moment for almost 16 years. Without further ado......
Introducing.....
Introducing.....
OUR NEW HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got the call today after several rounds of offers and counter offers, the seller accepted our offer! This is our new home!! We will hopefully be closing mid-May and moving in shortly thereafter!! House shopping was quite stressful because of several factors: our needs, school districts, children, etc. We made an offer of another house and God immediately closed that door. With that door closed, a much better door opened.
This is a house that has been completely redone! It is beautiful! The backyard is huge and is completely fenced (just needs a gate!). I can already visualize my two kids playing on their swing set and making lots of memories and noise!
We are so thankful for the Lord for making this possible and several other people who have had a hand in this process as well!!
