Got an email....

So, I open my personal email account the other morning and I get an email. It shouldn't come as a shock because in the back of my mind, I know my son is 12.5 years old and is entering 7th grade, but boy did this email hit me like a ton of bricks.

The email was sent to all parents of children in our church who is entering the Youth/Teen group. Yep. THAT email! I'm in total denial that my baby, my premie is old enough to be involved with the teens at church. His era with the Children's ministry is over. Wow. 

Mr. C has been hitting P stage already and parenting teens is the new journey I'm on. I'd rather delay it if possible, but here it is so I'm going to have to strap on my boots and deal with it. *sigh*

Summer 2016

Just realized it has been ages since I last blogged! Spring zoomed by with many school activities and just the crazy train of life. My kiddos finished 6th and 5th grades! We are now enjoying a slower season of summer filled with swimming, Kings Island, baseball, dance, and more! They are turning into teenagers right before my eyes and I'm not sure if I am ready for this!

Cheersport Nationals in Atlanta!

Last weekend, Cinderella's hip hop team traveled to Atlanta to the biggest dance competition she has ever been in and they killed it! They are National Champions and came back with a trophy as big as my girl, medal, blanket, patch, and the leather jacket! They did an amazing job and I'm so proud of all of them! We also did a lot of "firsts" like riding the Atlanta trains/subway system and eating at The Varsity in downtown Atlanta. We had a lot of fun despite awful weather coming back.

He's 12!

My firstborn is 12! How did that happen?! These years are flying by! I love every minute I have with my sweet boy! He has brought more joy than I thought I would ever have. He was the soothing balm to my broken heart, and I'm so blessed to be this young man's mom!!
