Our precious nephew was born on a snowy November 1st. Today he is 1 month old! He brings so much love and joy into our lives! We haven't had a baby in the family since Cinderella and that was over 9.5 years ago. I love being an auntie (too young to be a great aunt) to Carter Brendan!

Fall Fun

It's Fall!!

School has started, cheer practice is in full swing, and football season is here again! This is my favorite season! October is filled with lots of fun activities with the family, plus we are excited for a special baby to be born into the family in early November.

Mr. Charlie is enjoying life with us and his special bond with Mr. C is the sweetest relationship that C could have. He brings so much happiness into our lives. We love our new house and it feels like home now. We like our neighbors and the kiddos have lots of other kids in our neighborhood. 

We are so blessed and thankful for all the blessings in our lives!!

Cheer Practice has begun!!

Gone are the lazy Sunday afternoons and trips to KI. Cheer has begun again and she can't wait for her first competition in October.

Challenges

We have had a few bumps in the road lately with house repairs and van and truck repairs. However, we are not letting it steal our joy and am looking forward to our only summer getaway this weekend. It will be so much fun going to the state baseball tournament that is a 4 hour drive north. The kids can't wait to swim in the hotel pool and I can't wait to finally get out of town this summer. It's nice to spend time with families who are like us who struggle with the same issues and who really get it. Our hotel is sold out and it will be awesome to see it filled with kiddos just like mine. It's so hard to "fit in" in this life and we'll actually feel it this weekend!!

4th of July

We had our first annual 4th of July Cookout at our new home. We had 20 or so guests and a good time was had by all. It was fun decorating and showing our home to everyone. The kids had fun playing and Charlie enjoyed all the attention.
