Our church did not have their usual services due to the district-wide services being held in Indiana, so we decided to take the kids to the park and while I was riding my bike, Matt let the kids play on the playground. I biked a total of about 12 miles and now want to ride from the beginning of the trail all the way down to the end. I rode about that even though I didn't go down that far. This is definitely going to be my hangout this summer. It is so peaceful to ride in the woods and of course the kids LOVE to play on the playground there. We are looking in to visiting other playgrounds and parks that have bike trails.

Fun times at the park! We enjoy that as well. Since we hike/climb, we even travel a solid 90 minutes or more to some parks. And we like to shop in Terre Haute so we've become familiar with their park system as well. Summer is FUN!!!
Btw, we finally found our swingset as well. A retired man (whose grown children are all educators, principals, etc.) custom builds swingsets as a hobby. His work is wonderful and his prices beat Lowes, etc. This set has to live up to the weight and challenge of an almost 11 year old AND last for a 3 year old so we're thrilled to find him. In OH, swingset options were everywhere. There are surprisingly few here in Indy (oh yeah, downside is he's backlogged due to weather. Ours won't go up until mid July.)
