It's been an interesting few days. Carleigh came home on Wednesday complaining to my mom that a little boy K bit her. We dismissed it until bath time when I took her shirt off and found an ugly bruise with a puncture wound. This made me quite livid! The same boy has hit her in the past and is drawn to Carleigh per a conversation with Carleigh's teacher. Carleigh was so upset about it. I sent an email to her teacher to find out if she was aware of it.

Her teacher emailed and called on Thursday. Apparently, K bit her when everyone was getting ready to go home with backpacks and jackets being put on. I am very proud of Carleigh because she did go to the teacher and tell her that she was bit. The teacher rolled her sleeve up but didn't see anything. Well, the bite was in the upper and inner part of her left arm. Carleigh was taken to the nurse and an incident report was taken. Her teacher called K who wasn't at school on Thursday and found out that he is moving! Praise the Lord! I am relieved to know that the kid will not be in Carleigh's class anymore and not using her as a teething ring!

It's been a rather stressful week at school with lots of appointments added in....let's just say what an interesting month!
