C and C were hesitant at first, but loved the lake and beach! The sand was really hot so once our feet found the water, it was such a relief! Carleigh didn't want anything to do with the water at the beginning. Then, she was running up and down the shoreline and wanted to go out farther. I didn't bring their bathing suits as I really didn't think they would want to venture out farther. Wrong! Cody kept pointing out to the deeper part and said, "That way!" Which means that he wants to go out deeper. We did bring extra clothes so they did get wet. We looked at the animals at the nature center. We wanted to feed the deers again but we only saw one little guy and he was resting under a tree and wouldn't come over to the fence.

Aw, great photos! You're blessed to have that beach. There's NOTHING here in Indy (one reservoir, but the water is too dirty for my comfort level). How I miss living 35 minutes from Lake Erie.
