Carleigh has become quite the chatterbox these days! At HOME (and I emphasize that!), Carleigh talks non-stop. Her newest little phrases include "All done!" "Where's Daddy go?" "Where's Cody?" "Let's go!" She can also sing along to many Wiggles song including the movements and lots of Disney and PBS theme songs. Her latest craze are bunnies! I am going to make a bunny cake for her birthday. We are having her party on Saturday, March 15th but still haven't finalized where and when. If you are family, save that date!
Cody brought home a class book/binder that had pictures of his classmates holding shapes. Cody's homework tonight is to answer all the questions at the bottom of each photo. It was cute to see Cody as the rainbow and he was standing next to a little girl holding a star. He was too interested in the little girl to look straight ahead for the camera. Cody is such the ladies man! The book emphasizes color and shape recognition. Cody knows most colors but we haven't hit shapes like rhombus and trapezoid with him. I don't remember knowing those shapes before Kindergarten! This week it is "Right to Read" Week and Cody got to wear his favorite sports team outfit yesterday, Monday was crazy sock day, today was hat day but Cody doesn't like hats so we didn't send him in one, and tomorrow is pajama day. He is wearing his firetruck pjs. Next week, he will have class pictures and spring pictures. I was really wanting Carleigh to go before these occur...just one week to late!
